Fun at the registry

Today the police came to tow my wifes auto as Farmers Insurance screwed up the registration. Rather funny and sad at the same time. Our nation is really screwed up.

Police preparing to have Joyce's Civic siezed

I wonder about the souls of these officers. Performing evil on other human beings. Not good karma.

New officer inspecting Joyce's Civic

Police watching Joyce's auto be prepared for seizure

Police preparing to seize Joyce's Civic

Now I am sitting in the DMV office next to some older and newer Americans who speak Spanish. It is interesting. One is 3 years old.  She is a handful. The mom didn’t bring any toys so I offered a registry manual. Too bad,  no crayons. I did ask my eldest to bring some crayons and crackers, but her Dad came first. Compassion is a human emotion. We are all humans.

Hope I can get this straightened out today.

Well it looks like it may not be straightened out today. If it’s not straightened out soon, we are concerned that the vehicle may be sold. I was there from 1330 PT to 1630 PT on 2/24/2014 CE.

Just spoke with CA DMV operator ZLDL who is escalating to her Manager Essel, but she said it may be 3 weeks till CA DMV even gets to the letter. Joyce is fuming.

It would have been more enlightened to ticket her vehicle on the street as a warning to get it off the street rather than seize it. That’s what I’ve seen in other communities.

Today I visited the local office of Assemblyman Scott Wilk. I met with Patsy Ayala (tel 661-286-1565). I explained the story to her and, she will be in touch with the DMV and Farmers Insurance. I hope to hear from her shortly.

2/25/2015 CE Email from Liz Munson @ Farmers Insurance:

I was able to reach a gentleman by the name of Manny at the DMV. He stated
that he would try to escalate the issue at the DMV if I sent over the
letter to him that I sent yesterday. I faxed the letter I provided to you
yesterday to him a few minutes ago to review and try to get your
information updated.

Some possible items for resolution:

‣ Auto provided in the interim for Joyce.
‣Swinks to be enjoined from selling or dismantling the automobile while this is being addressed.
‣Joyce’s Civic returned to our driveway.
‣Payment by us of the fees owed to properly register the Civic, ideally managed by a Farmers agent so we don’t need to spend more wasted hours at the DMV

‣Payment by: Farmers to Swinks towing to get the auto out of seizure.

‣Someone from Farmers get the 1 day moving permit from Simi PD, paying them, and get the vehicle from Swinks back to our driveway.

‣Someone from Farmers address the 2 tickets pending with Chatsworth District Court Ticket1:

‣Another ticket/ partial images as they confidential information – Joyce was trying to get these fixed when the vehicle was seized

‣Joyce also found a citation in CA Law – Vehicle Code 22650-22711 that the Simi PD may have been in violation of when they seized Joyce’s vehicle.

‣Received call back from Scott A Kudler, Esq. He’ll take a look at this on 2/26/2015 CE.

Heathcare and Financial Services

Just came back from an aborted appointment with my physician.

The office wanted me to sign a form making me financially responsible for the work they do. I’d much rather the insurance company we pay tons of money to take the financial responsibility. I wouldn’t sign it so they wouldn’t see me.

I checked with my wife and will now try to see her physician. However, their form seems to have similar language which I crossed out. I won’t agree to it.

Seems our healthcare system is somewhat broken. Most of us don’t need extraordinary healthcare but our healthcare industry keep investing in new and expensive healthcare. I agree it’s important for the young and breadwinners but for those of us who are older and becoming outside of our key productive years, does it make a lot of sense ? I think not.  While I do enjoy life, prolonging it too long becomes a burden on society.

God Bless America, please

Emotional Age

As a Dad and American, I just took an online test that said my emotional age is 29.

I wonder about the emotional age of my fellow Americans. At my local YMCA, there are a variety of people in the pool who have a variety of emotional development. One person named John is a bit angry at being taken advantage of by other humans and, I pray for him. He is a good man. I have met other people who are mature adults who are very mature and educated whom I also enjoy speaking with. The YMCA Director there reminds me of a little Napoleon. The other day he charged at me with an angry choleric face to chase me away from the YMCA.

Many of my friends have more advanced emotional ages.

On our human right of self defense, do most mature Americans have the emotional maturity to handle it ? I am concerned that our educational system currently doesn’t encourage the emotional development of Americans and, I suspect entertainment like Call of Duty and other FPS games does little to encourage emotional development.

I just heard a program on NPR about the AP History test and the current discussion about this test. I wonder what the US AP History test includes about US History ? I just heard an outtake of  the song “Glory”.  With the current effort to incarcerate many Americans, particularly those with high melanin levels, I’m very concerned about the future of our country. I hope we can change it. After all, we are all people and, God does love us.  We don’t have kings anymore. I think it would be a good thing to fix our nation and not incarcerate our fellow Americans for their mistakes but, to educate them and provide opportunities for community service. That’s a bit more enlightened then what’s currently going on.

May God Bless America, please.

Loving God

I do love God. He has given us so much. I do love my wife and kids. I also love my fellow American’s past, present and future. I hope you do too.

Trying now to introduce my youngest to God. It’s tough. He’s so self centered. like so many of my fellow humans. He really loves his DS. Just dropped him off for Christian Doctrine. I heard the choir singing. I know from study that St. Augustine of Hippo is alleged to have said that “Singing is praying twice”.  I do feel it does bring us closer to God.

I just did a search on ‘Singing is praying twice’, and found Fr. Z’s blog. Nice. Even has a link for Mystic Monk Coffee. I know my wife and eldest enjoy K Cups.  Listening to the music of Les Miserables. Victor Hugo and the folks who made the music are wonderful people.

On Fr. Z’s blog – under ‘Food for Thought”:
“The legalization of the termination of pregnancy is none other than the authorization given to an adult, with the approval of an established law, to take the lives of children yet unborn and thus incapable of defending themselves. It is difficult to imagine a more unjust situation, and it is very difficult to speak of obsession in a matter such as this, where we are dealing with a fundamental imperative of every good conscience — the defense of the right to life of an innocent and defenseless human being.”

– St. John Paul II

I do know that mothers are saints, but as people we do have different situations some of which are very stressful. Sometimes the stress of an unwanted pregnancy can drive a women to suicide. I deplore both, but do understand that it is important that women have control over their bodies. We are all human and make mistakes, some greater or lesser then others.

American Apathy

It seems most American’s are apathetic. Just thinking of wanking their own wanker and enjoying the Boob tube. Television, the drug of the nation, breeding ignorance and feeding radiation.

The urge to go to war on an attacker is natural, but if we use our heads, it might be better to outlive the attacker on our nation by educating and changing them. That’s diplomacy.

I’m reminded of a story I read once where there was an additive in the food that made everyone a passive recipient of the information being fed to them in the television. The protagonist took himself off the additive and then was able to see what was really going and how people were being directed using subliminal messaging.

I am horrified by the apathy and ignorance of most American People toward evil and about the other people’s suffering. I hope and pray that the American people will amend their ways.

I hope to make it to Food Not Bombs, who distributes food at Pershing Square Los Angeles CA at 6:30p and 6th and San Julian behind the Union Rescue Mission at 7p every Sunday, rain or shine.
