On ethics –

The primary ethical rule I know is The Golden Rule: to whit “The Golden Rule or ethic of reciprocity is a maxim,[1] ethical code or morality[2] that essentially states either of the following:

  • One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself (directive form).[1]
  • One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated”

On the origin of Ethics – Plato, Socrates, Aristotle – the  Greek philosophers seem to have been the origin of Western thought and science.

Wikipedia has amassed a plethora of essays on Ethics.  I personally do not approve of Nihilism or Existentialism.

I stopped by at the Simi Pres church twice today, but no one was in. I dropped by a 2nd time to pass on the info on the human right self defense and, I heard talk of calling the police on me. What’s the nation coming to?
